The SCIL Programme

The Special Certificate in Intellectual Disability (SCIL) is a structured, hands-on programme designed to equip participants with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively support, educate, and advocate for persons with intellectual disabilities.

Developed under the guidance of Mrs. Manjulaa Kalyaan and recognised by leading special education bodies, SCIL graduates go on to serve in schools, NGOs, residential care, and family settings across Telangana and beyond.

Designing and implementing effective learning programmes including IEP development and differentiated instruction strategies.

Evidence-based approaches to positive behaviour support, understanding challenging behaviour, and intervention planning.

Vocational Training Methods

Principles of vocational assessment, job coaching, and supported employment for adults with intellectual disability.

Family Collaboration & Counselling

Building partnerships with families, delivering effective counselling support, and navigating community resources.
